RM Vale TI is an APL TIC Vale initiative, one of the main Information Technology and Communications clusters in Brazil, coordinated by the São José dos Campos Technology Park.
In its 8th edition, the RM Vale TI agenda will include a fair, a conference, the Startup World and Business Round. The central theme will be Digital Transformation, presenting cutting-edge technology for Smart Cities, Retail, Industry 4.0 and Agribusiness.
But this event, currently one of the most important business and Brazilian technology exhibitions, was created because of a “provocation” made by the very entrepreneurs connected to APL TIC Vale – that is, of presenting the competences and the prolific technology production within TechPark to Brazilian companies. And this meeting with business owners has acquired its own personality since its first edition. Eight years ago, RM Vale TI started with an agenda that comprised a fair and a conference, for exhibition of products and dissemination of knowledge.
Year after year, the event gained momentum and its own identity. From 21 exhibitors in the first edition, today we have 50. As of its third edition, the Conference has been divided according to themes: Smart Cities, Industry 4.0, Agribusiness and Retail. In the 2020 edition, the Conference will host 12 panels and around 50 speakers.
Since 2018, RM Vale TI holds a Business Round, an event that gathers major global players and technology suppliers in in-person meetings of up to 15 minutes scheduled before the fair even begins.
“With the Business Round last year, we had a new quality leap for RM Vale TI. The in-person meetings were assertive, with a work in market intelligence to identify buyers and suppliers and put them in contact. This is our event’s differential”, says Marcelo Nunes, APL TIC Vale Coordinator.
This year, the Business Round continues with the same purpose, and will be held in a completely remote form, using a platform exclusively designed for the event. During the first day, business owners will present Smart Cities solutions to municipal and state governments. Business owners from the areas of Retail, Industry 4.0 and Agribusiness will make their presentations on the 23rd.
