APTSJC’s work is structured according to the following pillars:

• Physical infrastructure and services: The Association is responsible for maintaining the physical facilities of the Park’s center and the Entrepreneur’s Galleries in the districts of Putim and Campo dos Alemães, in São José dos Campos.
• Science, Technology, and Innovation: The Association is responsible for creating and perfecting strategies to develop and strengthen the production of knowledge in the companies, universities and research institutes; encouraging the training of skilled labor, connecting companies, government, society, and universities and providing them with support; and attracting new universities, as well as science and technology institutions.
• Entrepreneurship: The Association’s activities are aimed at encouraging and disseminating entrepreneurial and innovative initiatives and attracting companies and entrepreneurship development mechanisms. To that end, it organizes technical, managerial, and market training activities for companies, and leads the expansion and modernization of TechPark’s infrastructure and the promotion of access to research, development, and innovation promotion mechanisms.
• Competitiveness: The activities coordinated by the Association in the Park focus on technological innovation and entrepreneurship in production chains, through management of Local Productive Arrangements and of the internationalization program for member companies.
• Urban and Social Development: In partnership with public and private entities, the Association works for the transformation of the TechPark center’s surrounding area into a major development hub for the city and the region, with schools, homes, service and trading companies, in addition to the establishment of companies that have completed their cycle within the Park’s center and need to grow.
• Support to public policies: APTSJC uses the knowledge acquired by accompanying companies, as well as technologies created by the residing companies, APL members, connected companies and institutions, and other companies in the city, to conceive and implement projects that meet the needs of municipal, state and federal public policies, always seeking to contribute to the solution of urban problems, satisfy demands and improve people’s living conditions.
• Implementation of Innovation Environments: APTSJC employs its competencies in the development and implementation of new innovation environments, providing methodology, technical and operational support to strengthen and expand the operation of innovation environments throughout the country.
