APL TIC VALE – the Information and Communications Technology Cluster – is one of the main ICT industry clusters in the country, and gathers over 80 companies of the sector, focusing on the development of solutions for smart cities, agribusiness, retail and industry 4.0.
To that end, the APL TIC VALE engages in various activities dedicated to training and qualification, internationalization, certification, fund raising and support to technological innovation. It also promotes business rounds, as well as national and international trade missions, conducted on its own initiative or through agreements with public and private institutions. Consulting services, as well as access to market intelligence studies, are also made available to the APL TIC VALE’s member companies.
Brazilian IT Cluster Network
APL TIC VALE is a co-founding member of the Brazilian IT Cluster Network, aimed at gathering nation-wide IT clusters.
The network offers many benefits to the companies: information sharing, benchmarking and joint action opportunities, as well as representativity gains and business generation.
RM VALE TI
RM Vale TI (www.rmvaleti.com.br) is an APL TIC Vale initiative, held every year since 2014. It is currently one of the most important business and cutting-edge technology exhibition events in Brazil, created because of a “provocation” made by the very entrepreneurs connected to APL TIC Vale – that is, of presenting the competences and the prolific technology production from the São José dos Campos region to business owners of the entire country.
The event includes a fair, a conference, and a business round, and welcomes over 4,000 participants every year.
The Business Round is the highlight of RM VALE TI, with a platform that was especially designed to facilitate the interaction between buyers and technology developers. Meetings are private, divided by interest, and business oriented. “The platform that has been designed is a great differential for the business round participants, for it connects and facilitates communication between those who are looking for technology solutions and those who are offering products and services”, says Marcelo Nunes, coordinator of APL TIC VALE.
