Entrepreneur’s Galleries

The goal of the Entrepreneurs’ Galleries Program is to drive the entrepreneurial spirit of people living in the suburbs of São José dos Campos, fostering social and economic development. 

The Entrepreneurs’ Galleries were implemented in 2012 by the Municipal Government of São José dos Campos and are managed by the São José dos Campos Technology Park, which provides training and continuous supervision to the entrepreneurs who participate in the program. The participant entrepreneurs receive training and assistance provided by TechPark’s staff in partnership with Sebrae-SP. There are currently two Galleries in the city: at the Putim and Campo dos Alemães districts, both with ten businesses 

The commercial site is leased for a symbolic contribution rate, well below market value. Selected applicants participate in training, seminars, trips, and receive assistance during their period of residence in the program – each company may occupy a spot for up to 60 months. After that period, the goal is for the entrepreneur to establish itself at a commercial site in the same district.

The Park’s mission is to find and train professionals that not only want a place to operate, but also want to be prepared for the market, through mentoring, courses and workshops, as well as retail expert advisory.
