PaixMEDICAL was initially founded in the United States by a multidisciplinary team with wide experience in their fields of activity. The company licensed patent application BR PI1000419-0, filed by the São Paulo State University. During its first years, the company developed a network of American and Brazilian investors to become future partners. In 2018, PaixMEDICAL was founded in Brazil and received a financial contribution of approximately R$ 1M from FAPESP for the development and launch of Magnetic Medicine. The aim of the company is to offer a disruptive technology capable of extending the diagnosis environment for gastrointestinal tract diseases, reducing animal experimentation and minimizing costs related to research in Gastroenterology.
